One of three new works to be showcased in solo exhibition in Buffalo NY. at CEPA Underground Gallery, April 5- May 25th 2019.

This work is recontextualizing and exploring the identity of  the Hudson Bay Blanket with the addition of quillwork embroidery
which was traditionally used by Mi'kmaq peoples.

The Hudson Bay Blanket is a Canadian staple, well known for its history in trade, the role they played the spread of smallpox and the construction of the colonial Canadian identity.
